Special Prayers Urged for Badhhal Rajouri Tragedy Amid Mehraj-un-Nabi (SAW) Preparations

In a significant move, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, convened a high-level meeting with Imams and Khateebs from various shrines and masjids across the region to discuss arrangements for the upcoming Mehraj-un-Nabi (SAW). The meeting, held on Monday, also focused on a call for special prayers for the people of Badhhal Rajouri, mourning the tragic and mysterious deaths of 17 individuals.
During the meeting, Dr. Andrabi emphasized the importance of collective spiritual efforts during these challenging times. “The Mehraj-un-Nabi (SAW) is a sacred occasion, symbolizing hope, unity, and faith. While we prepare for this event, let us also direct our prayers to those affected by this unimaginable loss in Badhhal Rajouri,” she said.
Highlighting the unexplained nature of the tragedy, Dr. Andrabi urged all religious leaders to dedicate special sessions for the bereaved families. “It is our duty as a community to stand together in prayer and extend our heartfelt support to the families of the 17 lives lost,” she added.
