NCP(SP) Holds Key Meeting in Srinagar Ahead of DDC and Municipal Elections

Srinagar, February 15, 2025: The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) NCP(SP)] convened a crucial meeting today at its party headquarters in Chanapora, Srinagar, to strategize for the upcoming District Development Council (DDC) and Municipal elections in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting, which began at 11 AM, was attended by senior party leaders and district representatives, focusing on election preparedness and organizational strengthening.
Party President Mr. Bashir Ahmad Ahangar participated virtually, providing key directives and guidance to party members. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Ghulam Mohd Bhat, Senior Vice President of NCP(SP), alongside Mr. Bilal Ahmad Rather, State Secretary and Meeting Incharge.

Additionally, Mr. Sajjad Rahman, Media Incharge of NCP(SP), participated in the meeting virtually, ensuring media coordination and outreach strategies for the upcoming elections.
The discussions centered on candidate selection, grassroots mobilization, and election strategies to enhance the party’s presence in the region. Leaders emphasized the importance of engaging with the electorate and addressing public concerns effectively.
The meeting concluded at 1:15 PM, with party members expressing their commitment to strengthening NCP(SP) at the grassroots level and ensuring a strong electoral performance in the upcoming DDC and Municipal elections.
