DC Budgam Approves Projects Of 24*7 Electricity Hotlines For Several Healthcare Centres,Toilets For Primary Schools & Buffer Stock Of KPDCL Transformers Under District Mineral Fund -

In a move towards the optimal utilization of available resources, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam Akshay Labroo today chaired District Mineral Fund (DMFT) meeting to deliberate on the judicious allocation of the District Mineral Funds for developmental schemes in district.

The meeting encompassed a detailed discussion on the utilization of funds available within the trust, aligning with the PMKKKY guidelines & rules.

District Mineral Officer (DMO) Budgam provided an overview of the funds available .

The meeting was convened to discuss the utilization of District Mineral Funds for critical developmental projects in Budgam.

Key proposals Approved during the meeting included the provision and augmentation of 24 by 7 Electricity Hot Line system for SDH Kremshore, SDH Chattergam, SDH Pakherpora, PHC Ompora, PHC Soibugh, and PHC Khag. This shall allow for uninterrupted power supply to these critical healthcare institutions of Budgam.

Additionally, a buffer stock of 15 additional Transformers was approved in favour of KPDCL Budgam which shall improve the power infrastructure in district and will also improve provision of electricity to the residents of Budgam by reducing the time taken to repair the damaged transformers. This shall particularly be helpful during winters when the damage rate of Transformers is higher and will ensure better winter preparedness.

The meeting also highlighted the need for upgrading basic facilities, such as electricity and toilet facilities, in educational institutions and as such approved the same for Primary schools of Kuzwera, Bagh-e-Sail, and Gopalpora schools .

These initiatives are aimed at enhancing local & critical infrastructure and shall improve the overall quality of services.

The DC issued directives to the DMO for the meticulous and effective implementation of the approved plan for its timely implementation on ground.

The meeting was attended by CPO Budgam ,CMO, CEO, ACD, DMO,DSWO, Executive Engineer R&B , KPDCL, PHE Budgam besides other members of the Committee.
