Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested four drug peddlers in Anantnag & Handwara and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
A Spokesperson said that Police party from Police Station Aishmuqam under the supervision of SDPO Pahalgam at a checkpoint established at Brad Aishmuqam and arrested two drug peddlers identified as Farooq Ahmad Lone son in law of Gh Rasool Itoo resident of Paith Nambal A/P Yall and Zafar Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Afzal Bhat resident of Khayar. During search 7.2Kgs of Cannabis Husk and 256 grams of Cannabis Powder like substance from their possession.
