Police Attach Property of Drug Peddler Worth Lakhs Under NDPS Act

Police in Srinagar have attached the property of a drug peddler, consisting of movable assets in the form of a vehicle valued at approximately Rs 1.5 lakh.

A police spokesperson in a statement said, “The vehicle was acquired through the proceeds of illicit drug sales by Javid Ahmad Wani, son of Ali Mohammad, a resident of Gasoo Hazratbal. He is involved in case FIR No. 27/24 under Sections 8/20 and 21 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Zakoora.”
